New Ferrari F12berlinetta To Make North American Premiere Ferrari’s fastest ever production model, the new F12berlinetta, will receive its North American premiere at this week’s Pebble Beach’s Concours d’Elegance, the Italian automaker announced. In particular, the V12-powered supercar will make its appearance at the First Tee of the Pebble Beach Golf Links on August 19.

The two-seater F12berlinetta was revealed for the first time at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this year. “With many of our most valued clients and avid fans joining for the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, this is the ideal moment for the North American premiere of the new F12berlinetta,” says Marco Mattiacci, President and Chief Executive Officer of Ferrari North America, adding, “Both beautiful and breathtakingly fast, the F12berlinetta carries forward the traditions of the great Ferraris of today and yesteryear.”

The F12berlinetta is powered by a 6.2-liter V12 engine that generates 730hp (740PS) and 690Nm (509 lb-ft) for a 0-200 km/h (124 mph) acceleration time of 8.5 seconds and a 340 km/h+ (211mph+) top speed.

The coupe model rides on an all-new spaceframe chassis and uses 12 different kinds of alloys on it body shell, something that has resulted in a 20 per cent increase in structural rigidity and a 70kg (154 lbs) reduction in weight to 1,525 kg (3,362 pounds), compared to Ferrari’s previous V12 coupé, the 599 GTB Fiorano.
