B-town’s Yesteryear Heroines Watch Heroine
With Madhur Bhandarkar’s Heroine all set to showcase real side of the film world, the director is working overtime to create hype.
If he, along with lead girl Kareena Kapoor visited Siddhivinayak temple in Mumbai sometime back to seek divine blessings, on Tuesday movie’s co-producer Renu Bhandarkar (Madhur’s wife) held a special screening for veteran actress Helen, who has an important role in the flick, and her friends.
The film was screened at Ketnav in Mumbai which also had Asha Parekh, Sadhana, Waheeda Rehman, Shammi Aunty, Sangeeta Bijlani, Alvira Agnihotri along with Salim Khan and Salma Khan. “I think Kareena is the best actress of today’s time”, said Asha Parekh. The screening was a private affair and all the actresses of yesteryears were full of praises about Madhur’s bold ideas.
