Munni Is Nostalgic Malaika’s Personal Favourite
Model-actress Malaika Arora, who made a mark in Bollywood with her hit item number Chhaiya Chhaiya in the 1998 film Dil Se, gets nostalgic at the mere mention of the song. “Nostalgic! I still remember that shoot, I still remember every step, every moment and it just makes me smile,” the 39-year-old said Monday at a dance academy in Mumbai.
She has done quite a few item numbers so far. When asked about her personal favourite, she said: “I would definitely say Munni (from Dabangg) because it was our film.”
Her current favourite is Kareena Kapoor’s item song in Heroine.
“Something that I like, recently, Halkat Jawani, Bebo song, I really like it,” Malaika said.
