Rajini For Rs. 15-Crore Item Number In Aamir Film?

If rumours are to be believed, then this is a big one. According to the hot news doing the rounds in tinsel town, Superstar Rajinikanth has been approached to do an item number in an Aamir Khan film!

Aamir’s Taalash is the next big release for the star post 3 Idiots. Reports suggest that Rajinikanth is being roped in for doing an item number in his Talaash and the fee for this? Well, 15 crores! And it’s being suggested that a large amount would be spent on making this song.

When contacted Rajini’s official spokesperson brushed aside all these stories as just that rumours. The person went on to add, “No one has approached Rajini sir in this regard yet.”

Interestingly, there was a buzz a few weeks back suggesting that the Superstar would play a cameo in Dhoom 3 which also stars Aamir. Rajini, as we all know, is currently busy with his daughter’s Kochadaiyaan, which is likely to release by the end of the year.

One wonders why this rumour-mongering about Rajini and Aamir working together? Is someone just trying to gain some free publicity?
