Chartered Accountants Of Pakistan Inaugural Gala
The Canadian Chapter of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) held its inaugural gala dinner on October 19, 2012 at the Bayview Golf and Country Club in Toronto, Ontario. The chief guest at the occasion was Charles Sousa, Minister of Citizenship and Immigration, Ontario. The keynote speaker at the event was Dr. Warren Jestin, Chief Economist of Scotiabank. Ms. Tashia Batstone, VP Education of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants (CICA) also spoke on the occasion. Dignitaries in attendance included Akbar Adil Shah, Counsellor for Community Affairs with the Pakistan Consulate, Member of Provincial Parliament Reza Moridi and other community and business leaders. The gala was attended by about 250 guests.
