Mathletics 2012 Winners

Toronto: Panorama India conducted the Mathletics-2012 program for the third year on 30 September for youth studying in grades 7 to 11. Students enjoyed the fun filled quiz program answering questions on electronic clickers. Parents were even more excited to answer the questions. There were separate questions for parents too with special prizes for them. There were over 100 participants besides parents, friends and well-wishers who enjoyed the day long program.

The day’s program started with training on electronic clickers followed by welcome address by Jibanjit Tripathy, Chair, Panorama India congratulating the parents and their children for taking part in the program. Raju Chander and his team of engineers from Professional Engineers, Ontario (Scarborough Chapter) conducted the quiz program. Apart from the students, few questions were also thrown open to parents and the engineers gave explanations related to various topics that were covered as part of Mathematics.

The winners were decided based on the answers clicked on the clickers by students and recorded by the computer. At the end of the program the computer printed out the winners. Two students Saiyyam Patel and Varun Gupta who were the winners in the previous year were on top 3 again and were honoured as Returning Champions.
