Toronto: According to a release from the IIFA organization, all tickets for the Awards function that will take place at Rogers Centre on June 25, 2011 are now sold out.
In Toronto, the final block of 8,000 tickets were made available to public at noon, with the first 5,000 being snatched up in less than 3 minutes. All tickets were sold out within the hour. Ticketmaster, the official retailer for the Rogers Centre reported that demand for IIFA Awards tickets saw their representatives selling 100 tickets every 10 seconds.
“The response to IIFA Celebrations in Toronto has been unbelievable and we thank all the fans and people around the world for the love and support shown to IIFA over the years,” said Andre Timmins, Director, International Indian Film Academy. “This IIFA is going to be the biggest and best ever to date.”
Silvio D’Addario, Vice President Events, Rogers Centre said. “We knew that demand for the IIFA award show tickets would be high but the response has been incredible.”
