21-year-old in life-threatening condition alleged hit-and-run crash in Brampton, Ontario


    Police say a 21-year-old man suffered life-threatening injuries in an alleged hit-and-run crash in Brampton, Ont., early Sunday morning.

    Peel police say they were called to West Drive, near Orenda Road and Clark Boulevard, to respond to the collision around 4:30 a.m.

    Officers allege the driver of a small beige vehicle _ possibly a Toyota or Honda _ failed to remain at the scene of the crash.

    The 21-year-old man was taken to a Toronto hospital for treatment.

    The police service’s Major Collisions Bureau is probing the incident.

    Investigators are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the collision or have dash camera video to contact police.
