Akshay Kumar redefined Hindi cinema with his action-hero films in the 1990s, turned into a comedy king in 2000 and now has been treating his fans with more great work both on and off the camera.
In the recent years, the megastar has successfully embarked on several impactful themes and social issues such as Airlift, Pad Man and Toilet: Ek Prem Katha. This time the actor is back as Halvinder Ishar Singh in the upcoming film Kesari.
Recently, the actor visited Delhi to promote his film Kesari and received a warm welcome from a massive crowd gathered on the streets.
The Dilli Ka Ladka, who spent most of his childhood in Chandni Chowk, feels nostalgic every time he returns to the capital. Akshay Kumar took to Instagram and shared a video in which he can be seen sitting on the top of a car and waving to his fans in the lanes of Connaught Place, Delhi.
He captioned the video, ”No matter how many times in a year I come here, Delhi is always ready with a warm welcome. A big thank you from Team Kesari.”
Kesari is an unbelievable true story based on the Battle of Saragarhi, 1897. Touted as one of the bravest battles ever fought, 21 courageous Sikhs countered 10,000 invaders. These saffron clad warriors fought valiantly against all odds and changed the meaning of bravery. This Holi, celebrate the spirit of bravery & sacrifice with Kesari.
