OTTAWA: William Amos, Parliamentary Secretary for Science and Member of Parliament for the riding of Pontiac since 2015 has announced that the Canadian government would give over $640,000 to Canadian Organic Growers.
This investment will help them develop a national strategy that will identify the best solutions and opportunities, including new distribution channels for Canadian farmers,” he said.
COG says it “provides education, advocacy and leadership to help build an agricultural system that empowers farmers and consumers, enhances human health, builds community and mitigates climate change while increasing Canadian food sovereignty.”
