TORONTO: Police are looking for help tracking down suspects after an early morning shooting in downtown Toronto sent a 25-year-old man to hospital.
It happened just before 1 a.m. at the corner of King Street West and Brant Street, where police say the man got into a “verbal altercation” with three people in a car.
Two of at least four shots fired at the man hit him, and he was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police say the vehicle then fled west on King Street, and was last seen heading south on Portland Street.
It’s described as a newer model, red four-door Lexus sedan.
Police have released an image of the car taken from a security camera, and are asking anyone with information to contact them.
