• Botanical Zentangle was held on July 7 with a Zentangle inspired art workshop designed for kids! The Zentangle Method is an easy-to-learn, relaxing and fun way to create beautiful images by drawing patterns. Young artists gained inspiration from Sara Angelucci’s Botanica Colossi and create their own mini masterpieces.
• Tracks and Trails with Credit Valley Conservation July 21, 10 – 11 a.m. Let your imagination go wild and discover some of the creatures that live here by sleuthing for signs of tracks and more. Go on the prowl and discover the wild world of plants and animals! Register at pama.peelregion.ca ($5 +HST/per family, free for members).
• Local Food with Ecosource July 28, 10 – 11 a.m. Join PAMA and Ecosource as we prepare a fresh, seasonal meal together! We’ll learn about cooking with fresh, seasonal veggies that can be grown in Peel, and share recipes and tips. Ecosource is an innovative Ontario-based organization that inspires the community to become more environmentally responsible through creative public education. • Soccer Fitness 101 by Speed Training August 4, 10 – 11 a.m. A comprehensive, 1-hour, soccer-specific fitness workout, including warm-up, mobility, plyometrics, and strength training, run by Canada’s leading soccerspecific strength and conditioning coach, Richard Bucciarelli. Come prepared to train hard and smart. No experience necessary! Register ($5 +HST/per family, free for members).
PAMA is temporarily closed due to COVID-19 yet still operational on-line. It is a place to explore and learn about Peel Region’s culture and heritage, as well as use conversation, questions and stories to help make new and fascinating connections to the surrounding community. Throughout the year, PAMA offers a variety of workshops and programs for all ages, families and adults. With so many different programs to choose from, PAMA has something for everyone. Operated by the Region of Peel, PAMA is located at 9 Wellington Street, East in Brampton.
