Apple is reportedly planning to launch a new iMac, AirPods Studio, HomePod 2 and HomePod Mini on August 19, followed by unveiling the iPhone 12 line, iPad, Apple Watch Series 6 and AirTags on September 8.
According to well-known leakers iHacktu Pro and Komiya, the Cupertino-based tech giant may also showcase Apple Silicon MacBook and MacBook Pro 13-inch, iPad Pro and Apple TV 4K on October 27.
The company is also expected to unveil a renewed AirPower charging mat, and smaller wireless charger AirPower Mini, as well as AR based Apple Glass.
Some earlier reports claimed that Apple may launch LTE iPhone 12 models in October while 5G models will follow in November.
Apple is expected to announce at least four iPhone 12 models this year and live images of the entry-level 5.4-inch iPhone 12 are circulating on the Internet.
The images, published by “Seekdevice” on Weibo, depict a screen assembly with the familiar notch, minus the TrueDepth camera and other sensors, reports AppleInsider.
The panels seem to have the same notch size as the iPhone 11, but an improved screen to bezel ratio.
Previous reports suggested that the upcoming iPhone 12 series would feature flat edges.
However, this was not confirmed from the live images as these were quite unclear.
The entry-level iPhone 12 is expected to come with a 2,227mAh battery. In addition, it may arrive in both LTE and 5G versions, with the base LTE version starting at $549.
Apple is expected to launch four new iPhones under the iPhone 12 series which would include two premium variants.
All four iPhone models are expected to feature OLED displays and 5G support, claims Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.
Jon Prosser, a reliable Apple insider, said there is a possibility that a later iPhone 12 launch event could allow more people to attend in person.
A late launch would give the Cupertino-based tech giant time to reopen more stores in different markets that are closed due to pandemic.
