A beautiful yet breezy day set the scene as the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York rolled on after an anxious weather watch Thursday. As the parade continued, handlers struggled with some balloons – at times having to pull them close to the ground.
The 93rd Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade saw various peformers, marching bands etc. The parade is one of the city’s most popular events, and features about 8,000 marchers, two dozen floats and marching bands, ending with an appearance from Santa Claus. (The Associated Press)
