Man in life threatening condition after being struck with object in Toronto

Toronto police are requesting the public’s help in their investigation of a late-night attack of a cyclist who is facing life-threatening injuries.

Police say the victim was riding his bicycle in the area of Yonge Street and Wedgewood Drive in the city’s North York area before midnight, when he was struck with an object by an unidentified suspect.

The victim remains in hospital.

The suspect, described as wearing dark clothing, fled on foot.
