Visitors to the 2018 Vancouver International Auto Show had achance to experience Maserati’s entire vehicle lineup up close and in person.
The Vancouver Convention Centre served as backdrop to a diverse display of new Maserati vehicles, including the 2018 Ghibli sport sedan, the flagship Quattroporte executive sedan, the sporty GranTurismo and the Levante – the “Maserati of SUVs.”
The show stand in Vancouver offered a full glimpse into the expanded Maserati portfolio. This included several examples of The House of The Trident’s intelligent Q4 all-wheel-drive system, which encourages confidence in any type of weather. Vehicles on display included a pair of Levante S vehicles, with varying Blu Emozione and Nero Ribelle exteriors, which was also be presented with an example of GranLusso trim. In addition, a GranTurismo Convertible MC in Blu Sofisticato exterior and Bianco Pregiato interior was joined by a grey Quattroporte S Q4 and a white Ghibli S Q4.
All four model lines have received upgrades for 2018. Updates to the Ghibli and Levante MY18 include the addition of GranLusso and GranSport trims, previously introduced in the Quattroporte range. Customers now have the option to choose between one of two distinct trims for the Levante and the Ghibli: GranSport or GranLusso. GranSport was conceived to meet the demands of a sportier expression of the high-end lifestyle, while the sophisticated and luxurious GranLusso cabin combines a choice of Ermenegildo Zegna silk or full premium Italian upholstery and includes upgrades such as Radica open-pore wood trim and a leather steering wheel.
In addition, new for 2018, the Ghibli and Quattroporte now also feature Adaptive full LED headlights with glare free high-beam, based on Matrix technology for Ghibli, developed in collaboration with Magneti Marelli Automotive Lighting, and on L-shape technology for Quattroporte. Both Maserati sedans are fitted with power-upgraded 3.0L V6 engines as well, with the new, performance-enhancing Integrated Vehicle Control system (IVC), developed by Bosch in collaboration with Maserati.
Pricing for the 2018 Ghibli begins at an MSRP of CAD $88,500, while the Levante is available for a base price of CAD $92,900. The Quattroporte starts at CAD $127,500 and the legendary GranTurismo is available beginning at CAD $157,000. All prices are excluding taxes.
