Mississauga, ON: Heritage Mississauga hosting Erindale Secondary School exhibit.
Heritage Mississauga is delighted to welcome a new exhibit featuring collective works of art students from Erindale Secondary School. The exhibit features over 60 original works on 6×6 canvasses.
Students at Erindale Secondary School have responded to the theme of “Creating Atmosphere” for this year’s annual student exhibition. Titles such as, “Golden Hour”, “Eye of the Storm”, “The Great Blues” conjure a certain mood and set an expectant tone in sixty small paintings. As always, each individual artist interprets the theme in their own unique way and then translates their vision into acrylic on canvas.
There is no one way to describe their overall “Erindale” aesthetic. There is no one pervading tone. Instead it is a new ESS Spring show of district impressions from local perspectives and artists. Come see for yourself “Blossoms under the Moonlight” , “Zappp” and “Floating from the Gate”. The atmosphere at Heritage Mississauga ’s exhibit gallery is welcoming and artful!
This free public exhibit is open Tuesday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, and until 8:00 pm on select Tuesdays. Special thanks to Ms. Sheena Currie for the organization of this exhibit.
