Mississauga Vegfest to Host Second Annual Event

Mississauga, ON. (March 29, 2019) — The second annual Mississauga Vegfest will be held
at Port Credit Memorial Arena on Saturday May 11, 2019 from 10am – 6pm. Admission is
free! Over 100 vendors will showcase the finest local veg-based food, drink, clothing &
accessories, products, advocate groups, and children’s activities.
Veganism has exploded in popularity and the event is dedicated to educating and supporting vegans and the veg-curious about this ethical lifestyle in a welcoming, family friendly environment.
Mississauga Vegfest is an inclusive event where anyone can learn about what
veganism means, who it affects, how to participate, and then experience it for themselves for an afternoon of food and fun! Kids of all ages are invited to explore KidSanctuary – a lively, playful, safe space dedicated to educating and inspiring the next generation of plant based friends in an age-appropriate manner.
The Little Sprouts Art Show will exhibit beautiful and creative artwork by JK-grade students from schools across Mississauga. The new Lettuce Learn Academy, hosted by local charity EcoSource, will have drop-in workshops for kids including nature play, cooking,
gardening and waste reduction activities. Port Credit Memorial Arena is located at 40 Stavebank Rd, Mississauga. Parking is located
