BRAMPTON: Marriage anniversaries and birthday celebrations of members of the New Hope Senior Citizens of Brampton were marked at the Gore Meadow Community Centre and Library as part of their fortnightly gatherings.
The colorful event began with the National Anthems of Canada and India and a universal prayer.
The club provides social, recreational, cultural and healthy living programs by demonstration, education, seminars, and discussions.
“We try to build strong vibrant and healthy neighborhoods at Brampton. We are proud of our club which comprises 60% women and 40% men from ethnic groups”, Shambhu Dutt Sharma of the club said..
Ram Murthi Joshi father of Rakesh M Joshi law office arranged for tea and snacks etc. for the club event.

(President, National Council of Indo-Canadians) to grace the chairman’s seat with his team S. Gurdev Singh Mann, Satpal Singh Johal, and Pooran Singh Pandhi.
The recreational program included dances and songs sung by Sunita Vermani, Ami, Varsha Rajesh Shah, Bhaghubhai D. Lad, Ravi Lajpat Rai, Uncle Duggle, Surinder Sharma (Moga).
Shambhu Dutt Sharma introduced Satpal Singh Johal and requested all to support him for his election to School board Trustee Ward no.9–10.
