BRAMPTON: Ontario Progressive Conservative Party candidate for Brampton East, Simmer Sandhu, celebrated his official campaign office opening on Saturday. The event was attended by over 250 local residents. The office is at 8907, Unit 18, The Gore Road.
PC leader Doug Ford was also in attendance. Mr. Ford outlined his party’s commitment to creating over 15,000 long term care beds, providing an $850 tax credit to low-income Ontarians and reducing the provincial corporate tax rate by 1% to stimulate job creation in the province. Mr. Sandhu is a lifelong Bramptonian and lives in the riding with his wife and young son. He reiterated his support for helping his local community thrive. During the nomination process, Sandhu signed up 7000 plus members for the Conservative party.
