Diwali Music Fest 2016 brings Punjabi flavour to Diwali, the festival of lights

On Sunday October 30, the people of Brampton will celebrate the festival of lights, Diwali with enthusiastic fervour and Punjabi flavour as live musical performances by crowd favourite artists like Darshan Lakhewal, Deep Karan, Deep Jandu, Jass Bajwa and Gurjazz set the tone for a time of joy and festivity.

Diwali Music Fest will take place outside Sheridan College Davis Campus, Brampton (this is community festival not a Sheridan College event) and is free for everyone to attend. Thousands of people from the GTA area are expected to attend this musical night. In addition to live musical performances, there will also be Bollywood and Bhangra dance performances. There will be festive Indian food on the menu at the Diwali Music Fest such as mouth-watering sweets, savoury appetizers and other delightful delicacies. Shopping vendors with the latest trends in fashion. A spectacular fireworks display is planned for this special night of the South Asian Community. No Outside Fireworks will be permitted

Get ready to celebrate Diwali in Brampton with an action-packed day filled with music, performances, food and fireworks. The fun begins at 11 a.m. and continues until 9 p.m. The fireworks display is scheduled for 8:30pm and is surely something one wouldn’t want to miss.

Diwali Music Fest is a festival inspired from the traditional Indian festival of lights, Diwali which celebrates the triumph of good over evil. 2016 will be the inaugural year for Diwali Music Fest by Blue Diamond Entertainment Group.
