Brampton, September 24 2018: Liberal MP from Brampton Centre, Ramesh Sangha held an event here today to thank the people of his riding and also spoke about the various steps he has taken as an MP for Brampton Centre
Speaking on the occasion Mr Sangha said that he considered it a big honour and an achievement to be the liberal part MP from Brampton Centre. He thanked Prime Minister Trudeau for reposing faith in him and said that he hoped that the people of Brampton Centre would continue to visit his office in the riding so that all their problems could be addressed efficiently.
 He thanked his constituents for coming to his riding office in large numbers with various suggestions, which he always espoused whenever the parliament was in session in Ottawa. Be it Bill C-344 or any other issue which needed a voice in Ottawa, Mr Sangha said that he always did it with passion and will continue to do so in the coming years.
Present at Mr Sangha’s riding event were several members of Team Trudeau like Brampton MPs Sonia Sidhu, Ruby Sahota and Mississauga MP Gagan Sikand. Speaking on the occasion, MP Sidhu said that all five liberal MPs from Brampton worked as a close-knit team and she considered Ramesh like her older brother and was inspired by the work and dedication that Ramesh put in towards his riding.
Fellow MP Gagan Sikand complimented MP Sangha on his achievements and commented that it was hard to find such a hardworking MP who always worked for his constituents.
About Ramesh Sangha

Ramesh Sangha is currently the Member of Parliament for the riding of Brampton Centre. He is also a member of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Human Resources, Skills and Social Development and the Status of Persons with Disabilities (HUMA Committee). 

In addition to his membership on the HUMA Committee, Mr. Sangha is currently the member of several parliamentary associations including the Canadian Branch of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA), Canada-Africa Parliamentary Association, Canada-China Legislative Association, Canada -Japan Inter-Parliamentary Group, Canadian Delegation to the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe Parliamentary Association (OSCE PA), Canadian NATO Parliamentary Association (NATO PA), Canadian Selection of ParlAmericas, and the chair of the  Canada – India Parliamentary Friendship Group and a director of the Executive Committee of the Canadian Branch of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA).

MP Ramesh Sangha migrated to Canada more than two decades ago and immediately upgraded his law degree at the University of Windsor. After graduating at the age of fifty, he excelled in the field of law and established his own law practice as a personal injury lawyer in Brampton. As a distinguished lawyer, he offered co-op training to local students from high schools, colleges, universities, as well as pre-placement positions for law students. MP Sangha also provided immigration and legal counselling to new Canadian immigrants. He has a strong belief in philanthropy and devoted many hours to providing pro-bono legal services.

In addition to his highly successful legal career, MP Sangha also served as Chairperson for the Canadian Pension Plan Review Tribunal by the Governor General in Council (Canada).

MP Sangha is pleased to represent one of the most diverse ridings in Canada. He is no stranger to the community that he represents, his dedication to serving his community allows him to restore dignity to seniors and advocate youth employment.
