Ramona Singh is the Federal Conservative Candidate for Brampton East constituency.
Ramona worked on Doug Ford’s PC Leadership campaign by conducting all the Voter ID and Get Out the Vote operations through her in-house call centre and also the polling, texting and robocall campaigns.Ramona also worked for the Ontario PC Party campaign as Senior Communications Advisor.
In her media role, since 2014 Ramona cohosts a successful current affairs and political talk show “Various Views” every Tuesdays on TIN TV and Radio airing in 15 countries. Ramona also hosted the “People’s Perspective” on Rogers TV, “The Real Talk” on TAG TV, spokesperson for Ontario Proud on Facebook and she is an occasional guest panelist on Jerry Agar Show on NewsTalk 1010.
In 2004 – 2006, Ramona worked for the federal government at the Correctional Service Canada NHQ in Ottawa as Project Officer focused on employability programs for incarcerated and newly released offenders. Her role at CSC began from a field placement in 2003 while attending Carleton University where she graduated with a B.A. in Criminology and Criminal Justice, Law and a Diploma in Police Foundations at Seneca College.
Ramona is also a board member for COHAN (Community Oriented Health Advisory Network), a charitable organization that works with seniors on the management and prevention of incurable diseases. Ramona is also a committee member on the Governance Committee at CHAT (Community & Home Assistance to Seniors) a not-for-profit organization that enhances health, wellness and independence for senior citizens.
