Region of Peel: Police have arrested and charged Nouradine Ahmed, a 33-year-old man from Brampton related to a series of robberies in Brampton.
Between Friday, February 26, and Tuesday, April 6, the suspect is alleged to have committed four robberies, three financial and one a retail robbery.
On February 26, the suspect entered a financial institution at Queen Street and Main Street, where he passed a note to a bank employee making a demand for money. The suspect took cash and fled the scene.
On April 1, he repeated the crime at the same financial institution. On April 3, the suspect used a knife to try and rob a convenience store in the area of Queen Street and West Drive.
The suspect did not succeed. On April 6, 2021 the suspect again robbed another financial institution in the area of Dixie Road and Queen Street in Brampton. He took cash and fled the scene.
