Ganesan Sugumar and Stan Muthligam were the only Sri Lankan Canadians who joined with the Prime Minister Hon. Jusin Treadeau on a delegation to India last week that travedled from Feb 18-25, 2018.
According to Prime Minister Treadu, Canadian and Indian companies have signed 66 new contracts worth $1 billion in total in a deal expected to create 5,800 jobs in Canada.
Recently Mr. Shivakumar, the Global CEO and Chairman of Saravanabavan Holdings made a visit to Canada and Mr. Shivakumar and Mr. Ganesan Sugumar, Chairman of Indo Canadian Food Services have agreed to expand the Saravanaa Bhavan restaurant locations across Canada.
With that agreement Mr. Sugumar and Mr. Viswanathan, Executive Assistant to the CEO of Saravanabavan Holdings signed the multi million dollars expansion agreement in Mumbai, India. Saravanaa Bhavan Restaurant is credited with bringing the unique and authentic high quality vegetarian taste of South India to Canada. It has over 90 locations in 29 countries around the world. Within a very short Canadians across the country will be able to enjoy the amazing flavor of South India, it was announced.
