On Thursday, March 28 th members of Ontario PC Caucus welcomed Indo-Canadians from across the province to celebrate Holi at Queen’s Park.
The event was co-hosted by MPP Nina Tangri and MPP Deepak Anand, with many other caucus members joining the fun.
Members celebrated the hard work and achievements of Indo-Canadians in Ontario who have significantly contributed to the economic growth and prosperity of the province.
A special Kathak performance was put on by dancers, Pooja Kulkarni and Prachi Shah from Mudra Dance Academy.
The performance was choreographed by Guru Sandhya Desai and music was composed by Pandit Atul Desai.The guests also enjoyed traditional Indian delicacies, catered by Bite Me bakery. MPP Nina Tangri honoured entrepreneur and philanthropist, Ramesh Chotai with greetings from Premier Doug Ford. Ramesh Chotai was recently given the Pravasi Bharatiya Samman Award (PBSA) for his contributions to Canadian society. PBSA is the highest honour given to non-resident Indians.
