Toronto police investigating homicide in city’s Dovercourt area


TORONTO _ Police in Toronto are investigating an apparent homicide in the city’s west end.

It happened in the Dovercourt area, where officers responded to a call for “unknown trouble” Tuesday evening.

Police spokesman Const. David Hopkinson says in a tweet that a man was found with “obvious signs of trauma.”

He was pronounced dead at the scene and the death was deemed suspicious.

Hopkinson says homicide investigators have taken over the case.
