Tory Takes A Walk To Support Little Jamaica Businesses


TORONTO: Mayor John Tory on Tuesday took a walk through the Little Jamaica section of Toronto, under the aegis of the Black Business and Professional Association to show support for local businesses.

He later tweeted: “As a city of neighbourhoods, the vibrant community along Eglinton Street West showcases the true spirit of Toronto.

[It was] great to join Mélanie Joly, Minister of Economic Development and Official Languages, Deputy Mayor Michael Thompson, Toronto City Councillor Ward 8 Eglinton-Lawrence , Mike Colle M.P Toronto-St. Paul’s, and Minister of Crown-Indigenous Relations; Caroline Bennett for the walk.
