As the government gears up to take specific measures to help women entrepreneurs grow in 2018 with increased access to capital, resources and business innovation programs on the federal level, so does WINGS (Women’s Initiatives to Nurture, Grow and Support), a non-profit organization, that was incepted in 2014 with the purpose of helping women in the community grow and soar.
The organization now celebrates five years of service in the community by hosting a WINGS Trade Expo on Sunday March 18th 2018, 12.00pm onwards at the Embassy Grand Convention Centre, Brampton.
The aim is to bring women entrepreneurs, vendors and professionals from all walks of life across the GTA, together under one roof to display their work and wares with the purpose of mutual expansion.
Expand with WINGS Trade Expo 2018
Women-owned businesses are increasingly taking centre-stage in the country. “Canada has exceptional, talented women entrepreneurs with ambitions to scale their firms to contribute to the strong Canadian economy”, says wbecanada.org.
Keeping that in mind, WINGS connects women professionals with each other through fundraising and fun community events. Proceeds collected in the networking events go towards helping women in shelters.
WINGS Trade Expo 2018 attempts to connect over 500 women in their glittering fifth celebration. Funds from this event will be donated to the “Youth without Shelter”.
WINGS is collaborating with several sponsorship partners in leading this initiative with their first ever protocol in Trade Expos. With 6 active volunteers in the Board of Directors steering the 200-strong group of members, WINGS now prepares to give women in the community new opportunities for expansion.
The event promises to pulsate with lively entertainment, keynote speakers and a wide spectrum of vendors who have the opportunity to introduce their products, promote services, grow their customer base, and build their brands.
Sponsorship package options are available to companies looking to grow their association with this enterprising, rapidly growing group.
